The Roberta Bondar Travelling Photo Exhibition: Light in the Land – The Nature of Canada
This unique photo exhibition featuring the photography of Roberta Bondar, celebrates the emotional connection between the nature of the country and the individual. The exhibition will also highlight and educate the public on the role and importance of photography in the life of Mabel Bell; Mabel’s own photography and paintings, many of which document her life in Baddeck with Alexander Graham Bell. Community Day happening soon!
We are so excited for Community Day at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site! This kicks off a season of commemorating the 100th anniversary of Alexander Graham Bell’s passing. Find out more »Sod Turning of The Gardens
The sod turning for phase one of the recreation of the Mabel bell Gardens took place at 11;30 on June 11th, 2022. Joan Sullivan and Hugh Mueller, great grandchildren of Alexander and Mabel Bell joined Dr. Alana Pindar in turning the sod on the site of the gardens. The planting of the wildflower and vegetable gardens will take place June 2oth and the official unveiling will take place August 2nd.
